Mouzon - Leroux
Mouzon - Leroux is a family winery, founded in 1776 in the spectacular Grand Cru village Verzy. The village attracts tourists from all over the world with unusual, "enchanted" forest with strange, bizarre, strongly twisted trees - a special kind of beech. For a long time, Mouzon - Leroux grew grapes exclusively for sale, and only in 1930 the first bottle of champagne was produced.

Mouzon - Leroux

The company owns 6 hectares of magnificent vineyards, divided into 60 different plots. The vineyards have been biodynamically cultivated since 2008 and certified by "Ecocert". Only natural fertilizers are used, a horse and a plow are used for plowing, and seasons and moon phases are also taken into account. In the vineyards, flowers and grass grow between the vines. Sebastien Mouzon, the current owner, has planted cherry trees, tomatoes and other plants in the middle of his vineyard plots to promote biodiversity.
